About My Work

A lot of my work is inspired by contemporary events and past memories. Creating a sense of nostalgic familiarity is what I aim for, though I like to include a bit of the unknown in my pieces as well. In addition, I like to think there is beauty in everyday life and draw inspiration from that. This really inspires me to use multiple mediums in my work. I enjoy the process of working with digital as well as physical art hand in hand. For my final project in the Digital Imaging class at Hudson Valley, I created surreal images with vintage photo slides in combination with Photoshop to create a surreal scene with abnormalities. I’m Inspired by my love of fantasy games and movies and I hope when people look at my work they see or remember something that would remind them of their childhood memories. The world is constantly changing, and in my work, I like to create pieces that all walks of life can enjoy and reflect on.
